Despite being 34 years old, Peter Crouch has been mentioned as a potential candidate for the upcoming England squad after his recent run of form.
The striker has scored three goals in his last three appearances for Stoke City. Even though England manager Roy Hodgson has a number of strikers at his disposal right now, the presence of Crouch provides a totally different perspective to the style of play.
However, the former Liverpool striker has ruled out the possibility of getting back to the national team – despite not officially retiring just yet – even with the good form.
